Restaurateur John Graff has opened the doors to his third restaurant.
Piero’s Italian Restaurant in Huntingdon Valley is his first venture into fine dining,
but he is no stranger to Italian Cuisine, opening his first Italian restaurant in
Northeast Philadelphia in 1986 (Original’s Italian Restaurant & Bar).
Graff also is co-owner of another Huntingdon Valley favorite, The Corner Café.
However, this time he has upped the ante. Embarking on his newest endeavor
with the assistance of his Son-in-Law (John; General Manager) and his daughter Jamie,
Piero’s has earned rave reviews during its first year.
Located in the Woomont Home Community off of 1800 Byberry Road, this BYOB offers up a little bit
of everything. With traditional Italian cuisine and an American flare as its focus, Piero’s also
offers up a great lunch menu (served daily) and a Sunday Breakfast.
In addition to the main restaurant, Graff also renovated the adjacent building (formerly Java Coffee) into a private banquet room
seating up to 70 guests for all sortsof events. With a Tuscany inspired décor, rustic and elegant fixtures, and open layout featuring
plenty of natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding the room, it has quickly become a hit with the locals and beyond.
Behind the scenes, Chef Valentine Munoz (formerly of Stefano’s) and his staff dish upsome of the best food in town. With a vast
menu including fresh, locally delivered seafood and produceas well as homemade pasta, sauces, soups, bread, and desserts,
Piero’s serves only the best. Pair thatwith a highly motivated, friendly, and knowledgeable service staff, this place is a must go!
Just ask those who have already experienced this place, as they continue to come back for more—and you will too!
